Info on the New DeWALT Power Detect Reciprocating Saw

DeWALT Power Detect Reciprocating Saw

Equipment manufacturer DeWALT launched the new DeWALT DCS574W1 20V MAX XR brushless reciprocating saw with Power Detect™ tool technology kit.
( 20V MAX means maximum initial battery voltage is 20 - measured without a workload. The actual/nominal voltage is 18 )

According to DeWALT company, their Power Detect™ tool technology maximizes the performance of the reciprocating saw when used with high-capacity XR batteries compared to 5.0Ah batteries or less.

What is DeWALT Power Detect?
'Power Detect' is a technology that can detect/identify the battery, which enables the tool to adjust the power output, resulting in an increase of the runtime.

When you use the 20V MAX 8Ah battery, this DCS368W1 reciprocating saw will output up to 44% more power compared to its predecessor the DCS368 circular saw with a DCB205 battery (5.0 Ah).

Other features are:
- Cordless
- Brushless
- Keyless clamp for easy blade changing
- Integrated LED light for more visibility and accuracy
- Fast cutting speed | 1-1/8" stroke length
- Blade control by variable-speed trigger with 0-3000 spm
- Over 1300 UWO (= Unit Watts Out, a calculation of speed and torque)
- No-load speed: 3000 rpm

Tool weight: 7.8 lbs

Warranty: 3-years limited warranty, 1-year free service, 90-day money-back guarantee.

What you get.
