but not yet available T-Mobile / Danger phone: the Sidekick II .
Well, indeed parties: T-Mobile USA, Inc. and Danger Inc. announce the successor to the original Sidekick from T-Mobile, might be available probably this fall.
This T-Mobile Sidekick II is a cell phone with internet functionality and is thinner than the earlier model; it features an integrated camera with flash, has speakerphone and an improved battery life.
Network and subscription dependent features are:
HiFi Ringers - ringtones based on the straight-up, full-on actual recorded songs from top artists. Everything from hip-hop and rock to classic soul.
Voice Ringers - to download voice messages from music artists and celebrities who announce incoming calls.
New Games - to download the latest games for fun anytime, anywhere.
Contacts -keep up to 2,000 of your personal contacts in your pocket.
A Qwerty keyboard completes the email and messaging capabilities.
Future owners of Sidekick II may get their own email account.
AOL Instant Messenger is integrated and Yahoo Messenger can be downloaded to this new phone.
The Sidekick II is based on Danger Inc.'s award-winning solution, enabling wireless operators to quickly and economically deploy new applications and services to consumers over next-generation data networks.
Plans are, that with the launch of this phone, T-Mobile and Danger may introduce additional software that will allow Sidekick customers to wirelessly synchronize their desktop contacts and calendar information with their T Mobile Sidekick II and previous Sidekick phones.
So, altogether it will be a real all-in-one hand held, handset or whatever you wish to name it.
