It is a rechargeable standard 3.6V Lithium ion battery.
You'll have up to 165 minutes of talk time or 65 hours of standby time, after you do the initial battery charge of 2 hours using the rapid charger included in the purchase. The standby indication is based on no addition activity performed on the phone.
