On this page you'll find examples of ringtones to manually input in your Motorola v60 by pressing the keypad keys.

Creating a tone on your Motorola v60
With the "My Tones" feature" you can create up to 32 custom alert tones. You'll find the feature via: Menu > Settings > Ring/Vibrate > My Tones.
Enter the notes for the ringtone by pressing the keypad keys.
Press "OK" to save the notes, select and enter a name for the ringtone and save the name and the tone.

Entering notes
Press a key multiple times to cycle through the available notes or options (pitch, octave or length). The default setting for a new ring tone is a quarter note in octave two.

Octave 1 = press key 1    display= 1
Octave 2 = press key 1    display= 2
Octave 3 = press key 1    display= 3

Note A = press key 2    display= A
Note B = press key 2    display= B
Note C = press key 2    display= C

Note D = press key 3    display= D
Note E = press key 3    display= E
Note F = press key 3    display= F

Note G = press key 4    display= G
Rest = press key 4    display= R

Sharp = press key 7    display= #
Flat = press key 7    display= b

Quarter note or -rest = press key 0    display= q
Half note or -rest = press key 0    display= h
Whole note or -rest = press key 0    display= w

Entering a note
Set the new octave (1, 2 or 3) before selecting the note. The octave applies to the note and all following notes until you change it again.
Press a keypad key to enter a note. Enter a sharp (#) or flat (b) after selecting the note.
Some sharps and flats are played as standard notes. For example, B# is the same as C. Press S to scroll to valid notes when entering a new note.
Set the new length (q, h or w) after selecting the note. The length applies to the note and all following notes until you change it again.
Enter one or more rests as needed in the tone sequence. You can set the length of the rest by entering a (q, h or w) character after the rest.

You can listen to the new tone as you compose it. Press Menu to enter the Compose Menu, and select Play All to play the notes you have entered.
