June '05, Motorola, Inc. and Cingular Wireless launched the stylish and super sleek handset called the Motorola RAZR Black, the sequel to the popular silver version RAZR phone model (some say: razor).
It also came to the news as a promotional gift to Hollywood luminaries during the 77th Annual Academy Awards®.

Equipped with a VGA camera, this Motorola RAZR Black leverages Cingular's MEdia services like Picture Messaging and Cingular Sounds, enabling users to conveniently share pictures taken with the phone and easily download music.

Aircraft-grade aluminum, magnesium and nickel-plated copper alloy metals comprise the handset's slim silhouette. MPEG4 video playback and built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology complement the Motorola RAZR Black feature set - creating a smart, chic and highly desirable communications device, say launching partners.
