Major carrier Cingular Wireless recently (Dec.'05) came with new international calling packages: Cingular® World Connect® for calling from the U.S. and Cingular® World Traveler™ for calling from abroad, to make it more simple and affordable for globetrotting consumers to stay connected to family and friends around the world, says Cingular Wireless.

Cingular® World Connect®
For calling from the U.S.

Then there's the new international long distance package:
Cingular® World Connect® package for $3.99 a month.
Providing rates to over 200 countries when making international calls from the United States.

This Cingular World Connect package offers features such as - direct dialing, eliminating the need to remember PIN or routing numbers;
- one-minute billing;
- premier call quality;
- no maintenance fees, connection fees or expiration dates;
- and no need to purchase a long distance card or prepay for usage.

Then there are new additional international roaming and long distance packages for Canada and Mexico, called Cingular ® Canada™ and Cingular® Mexico™

As you may or may not know, Canada and Mexico are two of the most popular countries called and visited by customers.
Therefore, Cingular Wireless has introduced these two new calling packages: Cingular® Canada™ and Cingular® Mexico™.
With the Cingular Canada package for $3.99 a month, customers pay 59 cents per minute to roam in Canada and 19 cents per minute to call Canada from the U.S.
With the Cingular Mexico package for $4.99 a month, customers pay 59 cents per minute to roam in Mexico and 9 cents per minute to call Mexico from the U.S.
