CallVantage Rates
As you may or may not know CallVantage is a service mark of AT&T and a phone service - voice over ip (VoIP) - for broadband.
Basically, there are three CallVantage rates, named:
To make calls over the internet - Voice over IP (IP stands for Internet Protocol) - you'll understand that DSL or cable internet access is required.
The Service Plan mentioned above, includes unlimited local and long distance calling in the USA and to Canada
The monthly rate is $29.99 and AT&T offers a free first month with this plan and several features.
Their Local Plan consists of unlimited local calling and long distance calling at 4 cents per minute.
The monthly rate is $19.99
This plan also features Voice Mail, Caller ID with Name, and more...
Then there is Small Office Plan
For the first phone line this plan has unlimited local & long distance faxing and calling in the USA and to Canada;
and for the second phone line there are 500 long distance minutes for faxing and calling in the US and Canadian area.
Of course, the plan too comes with several useful features.
Of these three CallVantage rates, this plan rate is highest, namely $49.99
With each plan mentioned above, you get features such as
Voicemail - you can listen to your voicemail by phone or through the web, receive email alerts when you there are new voicemails, and forward voicemails as email attachments.
Call Logs - keeping track of all your outgoing, missed, and received calls.
Do Not Disturb - With this feature you can program your phone to let only urgent calls through during periods of time you wish. When 'Do Not Disturb' is activated, your phone won't ring and callers will hear a special greeting message. When it's not activated, callers will hear your normal voicemail greeting.
Locate Me - this allows you to enter up to five U.S. phone numbers that - when you're not at home - AT&T CallVantage Service will call in sequence or all at once until you answer. If you set 'Locate Me' to ring in sequence, the caller will be asked to hold while 'Locate Me' rings the next number on the list.
Speed Dial - this lets you set up single-digit shortcuts for the 9 numbers you call most. It is accessible through your AT&T CallVantage Service phone and through nearly any other phone at any location via your AT&T CallVantage Home Page.
Safe Forward Number - if a call can't connect to your AT&T CallVantage Service Phone because of a power failure or a disconnected telephone adaptor, you can choose a phone number to which it will be sent. This number, your 'Safe Forward Number', can belong to a wireless phone, another phone in your home, or a friend phone.
